This privacy policy governs your use of the software application Word Journey ("Application") for mobile devices. The Application is an offline word puzzle game in which you connect letters to find words, progress through levels, earn coins, keep a daily streak, and spin for bonus rewards.
The Application is designed to be played offline. We do not require you to create an account or sign in, and we do not collect or store any personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, phone number, or physical location) on our own servers. We operate no servers that receive your game data.
However, the Application uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify your device, measure performance, and serve advertisements.
To keep the game free and to fund continued development, we integrate the following third-party SDKs:
We use Google AdMob to display banner, interstitial, app open, and rewarded advertisements. Rewarded ads are optional and are shown only when you choose to watch one in exchange for in-game rewards such as coins or extra spins. AdMob may collect and use data such as device identifiers (Advertising ID), cookies, IP address, and app usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. In regions where it is required (such as the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), the Application shows a consent form provided by Google's User Messaging Platform before ads are loaded. You may choose whether to allow personalized advertising, and your choice is stored by that SDK on your device.
The Application may occasionally ask you to rate the game using the official in-app review feature provided by Google Play or the Apple App Store. The review itself is handled entirely by the store; we do not receive or store your rating or any personal data from it.
All of your game data is stored locally on your device only. This includes:
This data is never uploaded to any remote server managed by us. If you clear the Application's data or uninstall the Application, all local progress and preferences are permanently erased and cannot be recovered.
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take the necessary actions.
You can reset or delete your advertising identifier at any time in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking). You can also limit ad personalization there, or through the consent form shown inside the Application where it applies. To remove all data the Application has stored, simply uninstall it.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
