Privacy Policy - Voice Changer: Talk Back FX

In short:

Your voice recordings are processed on your device and are never uploaded to us. We do not have user accounts and we do not collect your name, email address or location. The app shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google may collect some device information to do that (see section 5).

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how the Android app Voice Changer: Talk Back FX (the “App”) handles information. The App lets you record your voice or import an audio file, change it with sound effects, play it back, save it and share it. By using the App you agree to this policy.

2. Microphone and audio

The App asks for the microphone permission so that it can record your voice. You can use the App without granting it, but you will not be able to record.
Recording, effects and playback are all done on your device. Your audio is not sent to our servers or to any third party.
Auto talk listens through the microphone only while its screen is open. It records what you say, plays it back with the selected effect and deletes the temporary files straight away. Nothing from Auto talk is saved.
The App does not record in the background.

3. Files you import, save and share

If you choose Import audio, you pick a file with the Android file picker. The App only reads the file you select and works on a temporary copy on your device.
Recordings you choose to save are stored in the App’s private storage on your device. Other apps cannot read them.
If you choose Share, the file is passed to the app you pick in the Android share sheet. What that app does with it is covered by its own privacy policy.

4. Information stored on your device

The App keeps a few small settings on your device only: your chosen language, and timing information used to limit how often ads are shown. This information is not sent to us.

5. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App is free and shows ads through Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and use information such as:

your device’s advertising ID,
your IP address and approximate location derived from it,
device and operating system details (for example model, language and screen size),
how you interact with ads.

This data is collected and handled by Google under Google’s Privacy Policy. You can see how Google uses data from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Consent: where the law requires it, for example in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the App shows Google’s consent message the first time ads would be shown and only requests ads according to your answer. You can review or change your choice later in the App by opening the language menu on the Record screen and selecting Ad privacy settings. That option appears only in regions where it is required.

Your choices: on Android you can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ads personalization in Settings → Google → Ads (the exact path can vary by device).

The App needs an internet connection only to load ads. Everything else works offline.

6. What we do not collect

We do not ask you to create an account.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number or precise location.
We do not upload, store or listen to your recordings.
We do not sell your personal information.

7. Data retention and deletion

Because your recordings stay on your device, you control them. You can delete a saved recording at any time from the Library screen, and uninstalling the App removes all of its data from your device. We do not hold any of your data on our servers, so there is nothing for us to delete. For data held by Google AdMob, see Google’s policy linked above.

8. Children’s privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will help.

9. Security

Your recordings are kept in the App’s private storage and are not transmitted by the App, which keeps the risk low. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Please check back occasionally.
