This privacy policy governs your use of the software application Easy QR Barcode ("Application") for mobile devices. The Application lets you create, customize, scan, and manage QR codes and barcodes. Its core features work fully offline.
1 Information We Collect
The Application does not require you to create an account, and we do not collect or store any personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, or location) on servers managed by us. Everything you generate or scan stays on your device.
However, the Application integrates third-party services that may collect information used to identify you, improve performance, and serve advertisements, as described below.
2 Permissions & Device Access
The Application requests the following permissions, only when needed for the feature you are using:
- Camera — used exclusively to scan QR codes and barcodes through the in-app scanner. No photos or video are recorded or uploaded.
- Wi-Fi state / network state — used when you tap "Connect to Wi-Fi" after scanning a Wi-Fi QR code, so your device can join that network.
- Photos / gallery — used to pick an existing image for scanning and to save generated codes back to your gallery at your request.
3 Third-Party Services
To support development and keep the Application free, we integrate the following third-party SDK:
Google AdMob
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the Application. AdMob may collect and use personalized or non-personalized data, such as device identifiers (Advertising ID), cookies, and usage data, to serve relevant ads. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. The only sharing that occurs is through the third-party advertising service described in Section 3, governed by that provider's own privacy policy. When you use actions such as opening links, sending SMS/email, or sharing files, the relevant content is handled directly by the apps you choose.
6 Children's Privacy
The Application does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the Application, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
