CozyVibes Privacy Policy

CozyVibes ("the app", "we") is an ambient sound mixer for Android. This policy explains what information the app uses and what happens to it. You can reach us at weirdstudio770@gmail.com.

1. Information we do not collect

CozyVibes has no accounts or sign-in. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or precise location, and we do not run our own servers that receive your data.

2. Information stored on your device

The app saves the following only on your device, so it can remember your setup:

• your chosen language;
• your sound mix, volume levels, thunder settings and the mixes you save;
• references to the audio files you add through "My music";
• small settings such as whether this is the first launch and when an ad was last shown.

This data is not sent to us. Removing the app, or clearing its storage in Android settings, deletes it.

3. Your music files

When you add songs, you pick them with Android's file picker. The app plays them on your device. They are not uploaded or shared.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

CozyVibes shows ads using Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. To serve and measure ads, AdMob and its partners may collect and use information from your device, such as your advertising ID, IP address (and an approximate location derived from it), device and app details, and how you interact with ads. This may be used to show personalised or non-personalised ads, to limit how often you see an ad, and to prevent fraud.

5. Consent and your choices

• EEA, UK and similar regions: before ads are requested, the app asks for your consent using Google's consent message. You can change your choice at any time with the privacy button on the home screen, which appears where it is required.
• Everywhere: you can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalisation in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads (the exact location varies by device).

6. Permissions the app uses

• Internet / network state – to load ads and know whether you are online. The sounds themselves play without a connection.
• Notifications – to show the playback controls while your mix is playing.
• Foreground service (media playback) and wake lock – to keep sound playing when the screen is off or you switch apps.

7. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. The only third party that receives information through the app is Google, through AdMob, as described above.

8. Children

CozyVibes is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information through ads or otherwise, contact us and we will help.

9. Your rights

Because we do not hold your personal data, there is usually nothing for us to access or delete. For data held by Google through AdMob, you can use Google's privacy controls. If you are in a region with data protection rights (for example the GDPR) and have a question or request, email us and we will respond.

10. Security

Data you create stays on your device under Android's app sandbox. Ad requests are sent to Google over encrypted connections.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above will change when we do, and significant changes will be reflected in the app's store listing.
